Joseph Carson’s journey to create Casa Joseph began with a spark—an unforgettable first visit to Puerto Escondido in 2015. Captivated by Zicatela’s raw charm, tranquil atmosphere, and authentic energy, he envisioned a space that blended barefoot luxury with heartfelt hospitality.

After years of planning and a lifetime of global inspiration, Casa Joseph opened its doors in December 2021. With only 18 oceanfront rooms, personalized service, and experiences curated from Joseph’s personal passions—wellness, gastronomy, music, nature—Casa Joseph is more than a resort.
